About find.do
find.do is the counterpart of for.do. for.do gives you the steps; find.do gives you the tool for each step. Entries are organised by the task you are doing, not by a genre of software, and every one says what it is for, what it costs, and whether it is the official source (a regulator, a test maker, a registry) or a third party.
How entries are chosen
- It has to be used in a real playbook, or be the official portal for a task a playbook covers.
- Official sources are listed first in every task and marked ◆, because for exams, licences and filings the official page is the tool.
- Pricing is stated as of the reviewed date. Tools change plans; the tool's own page wins.
Listings and corrections
Every page has a link to suggest a correction. Vendors: there is no paid placement; a tool is listed when a playbook needs it.
